ABOUT NURA

Nura McCauley is a California State Board licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, as well as being a nationally certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine.

She is also a certified Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience supporting clients recovering from pain and injuries. The modalities she specializes in are Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Tui Na and Swedish.

Nura received her BS in Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science (ACCHS) in Oakland, California.

She accumulated over 1000 hours of clinical experience at the ACCHS Community Clinic. She attended Post-graduate Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship with Whitfield Reaves, author of The Acupuncture Handbook of Sports Injuries & Pain.

Nura is currently completing a Certification Course in Matsumoto/Nagano Style Acupuncture with Monika Kobylecka, Kiiko Matusmoto’s teaching assistant.

Her areas of specialty include: Pain Management, Sports Injuries, Stress & Anxiety, Insomnia, Digestive disorders, as well as Auto-Immune conditions.
